The UMB Center for Interprofessional Education was established by Jay A. Perman, MD, president of UMB, in 2013. One of the themes of the University’s Strategic Plan is to excel at interprofessional education (IPE), clinical care and practice, and public service.

There are over 6,000 students enrolled in our six professional schools – dentistry, law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and social work – and our Graduate School.
