All UMB and Affiliate personnel who need eUMB HRMS basic access are required to take the Introduction to eUMB HRMS training. Users who request Commitment Accounting and/or Departmental Payroll Processing access, you are required to take additional course(s). All three courses are available online in the UMB Learning Management System (LMS). Please see below all payroll related training courses and descriptions.

Introduction to eUMB HRMS
This self-paced, online course provides an overview of the eUMB HRMS. This includes accessing eUMB HRMS, conducting a search, navigating a page, various eUMB components and ways to access employee data using reports and/or queries.
This course is required training for anyone who will hold any role in eUMB HRMS. You will need to complete this course before registering Departmental Payroll Processing (DPP) or Commitment Accounting (CA) courses.

Departmental Payroll Processing
This self-paced, online course provides an overview of payroll processing including viewing time reporter data, changing the default schedule, time reporting, correcting time reporting, approving payable time, viewing employee paycheck data, understanding payroll reports and reviewing other payroll topics.
This course is required training for those who will fulfill departmental payroll processing ETS Approver role in eUMB HRMS.

This self-paced, online course introduces the process of initiating, recycling, re-working and approving an Employee Funding Profile.
This course is required training for those who will fulfill the Commitment Accounting (CA) Initiator, CA Reviewer and/or CA Approver roles in eUMB HRMS.
