Reetta Gach is the Executive Assistant to the Chief Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer and Vice President (CEDIO/VP). In this role, she coordinates daily operations of the Office and supports the CEDIO/VP in scheduling, expense tracking, meeting management and content with internal and external stakeholders; conferences and webinar planning; manages and coordinates correspondences and reports on behalf of VP; assists with project management; and manages communication. Contact Ms. Gach to schedule a meeting with Dr. Forbes Berthoud or to propose event collaboration with the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (OEDI).
Reetta has been with the University of Maryland, Baltimore since 2013. She has 26 years of operations management experience and has worked in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. In addition to operations management, she has experience planning and managing events, projects, and programs. Prior to joining OEDI, she was a Senior Program Specialist for the Center for Interprofessional Education under the School of Nursing. Reetta earned a master’s degree in management with a specialization in project management in 2015 and an MBA in 2020, both from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore in 2012.
Reetta has three children and lives near campus in the Washington Village neighborhood.
