The historical erasure and invisibility of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American community in U.S. society has real implications in the fields of higher education and health care.

In this workshop organized by the Intercultural Center, participants will develop a critical awareness of the “model minority myth” and explore how to proactively challenge and disrupt the stereotypes in their everyday lives, educational journey, and professional practice.
