EMBRACE’s Operations and Intermediary Services team plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s mission by ensuring strong fiscal oversight, operational integrity, and effective resource distribution. The team is responsible for the fiscal management of all EMBRACE contracts and grants, including budgeting, financial tracking, compliance, and reporting. Through careful stewardship of funds, Operations ensures transparency, accountability, and alignment with funder requirements while prioritizing the needs of community partners. 

To further support transparency and informed decision-making, EMBRACE maintains a data dashboard that provides an overview of organizational and intermediary activity. This dashboard includes the number of active contracts, the total EMBRACE budget, funding sources, and the amount of funding distributed to nonprofit and grassroots organizations. These data tools help demonstrate impact, promote accountability, and support continuous learning and improvement. 

In addition to fiscal and administrative functions, the Operations team provides training and technical assistance to community-based organizations. This support includes guidance on grant writing, organizational development, obtaining 501(c)(3) status, and effective nonprofit management practices. Through capacity-building efforts, EMBRACE strengthens community-led organizations, helping them build sustainable structures and access resources needed to advance their work.
