How can I keep myself safe if a co-worker engages in high risk behavior off campus?

September 29, 2021

The best way to protect yourself and others is to get your COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine reduces the risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 and significantly prevents COVID-19 related hospitalizations and deaths. You should also follow current UMB COVID-19 safety practices to include adhering to UMB’s Policy Requiring Use of Face Coverings – including a recommendation for all individuals to wear KN95s when in a group setting - and not coming to work if you are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

If a co-worker is not adhering to UMB COVID-19 safety requirements, you should discuss your concern(s) with your supervisor or submit your concern(s) to the UMB Ethicspoint Hotline
