- Utilize the core values as a rationale for decision making - Frame operational issues and decision-making around core values.
- Include in meeting agendas to discuss what and why they are with colleagues
- Invest resources in promoting the core values.
- Incorporate into interview processes.
- Actions must match the words.
- Intrinsic and authentic behavior.
- Motivate team members to create behavioral expectations about what you expect of me – e.g., customer service is important and what that means.
- Intentionally highlight the core values used in the decision-making process – especially when the decision is a difficult one.
- Make sure expectations are clear.
- Demonstrate self-care.
- Talk about how you attend/commit to own your own wellness.
- Be engaged with Campus events and the larger campus community.
- Invite others to join you.
