The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) held an in-person commencement for the Class of 2022 on Thursday, May 19, after holding virtual ceremonies in 2020 and 2021 because of COVID-19 restrictions.

This year’s Universitywide event was held at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. It featured a keynote speech from Anthony Fauci, MD, the longtime director of the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical advisor to President Joe Biden.

UMB congratulates the Class of 2022 graduates of the schools of dentistry, law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, social work, and the Graduate School.
