Description: This project replaced the Real Estate group’s use of Archibus software (for facilities management) with a module called Space in Asset Works. Asset Works is currently in use by the Operations and Management (O&M) group. This project was completed October 17, 2025.

CITS Accountable Lead – Tom Hockensmith

Description: This project will establish Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) framework & presence for a variety of use cases and investigate posture checking capabilities to evaluate remotely connecting devices. We are actively planning the roll-out of AVD with the schools.

CITS Accountable Lead – Diane Faranetta

Description: eDisclose, a financial disclosure reporting/tracking system currently used by the School of Medicine, is being implemented for use by the rest of the University. All development as been completed. We are preparing for a full launch by January 20, 2026.

CITS Accountable Lead – Ryan Whyms

Description: Retiring the use of Google Apps for Education, including that provided to Alumni. All user items have been moved as necessary and the Google server has been shut down. This project ended July 11, 2025.

Description: Implementation efforts continue with our partner, Huron. The project encountered some issues and the Test phase now continues. We are now working toward our February 2, 2026 launch of the new system.

This project replaces Philanthropy's current fundraising system, Advance. Design sessions were completed as was much development. The first round of user acceptance testing was held August 26 to 28. A second round of user acceptance testing was held November 11 to 13. Development for reporting and integrations ran into some issues. We have corrected for the issues and are currently resetting our target goal date.

CITS Accountable Lead – Dr. Peter Murray

Description: The goal for this project is to replace all the helpdesk ticketing platforms at UMB with one solution. The system SysAid, currently used by the School of Medicine, was chosen to expand as the helpdesk ticketing platform across campus. The SysAid system was configured for all the schools. The Jira integration enhancements were also configured and implemented for tier-2 ticket processing. This application went into production use December 8, 2025.
