Project Goal

After 10 years the technology in the Elm Ballrooms became antiquated and outdated. The original equipment severed its purpose well, but as technology has improved and modernized, the SMC Campus Center had to grow with the trend. To host top-notch events, an overhaul of the Audio Visual (A/V) systems and equipment was needed to serve our current and future needs. 

Project Overview

• A 9-panel 165” video wall was installed in Elm Ballroom A.
• A laser projector with 165” screen was installed in Elm Ballroom B.
• Upgraded Bose speakers, a wireless microphone system, and upgraded cameras have been added.
• Added functionality for streaming capabilities.
• Complete replacement of Crestron infrastructure which is the automation and control solution for A/V equipment and lighting.
