UMSON’s Elizabeth Galik Named PALTmed Clinician of the Year

Elizabeth Galik, PhD ’07, CRNP, FAAN, FAANP, professor and chair of the University of Maryland School of Nursing’s (UMSON) Department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health, has been named the 2026 Clinician of the Year by the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed).
Galik was honored for her dedication to the clinical care of older adults, particularly those living with dementia and other mental health issues.
