PATIENTS Program Launches Nationwide Health Equity Initiative

The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s PATIENTS Program has launched PATIENTS Going National, an initiative designed to advance health equity by partnering with historically underserved communities across the United States. With funding from AstraZeneca, Bayer, and Novo Nordisk, the program expands its evidence-based approach to patient and community engagement, focusing on diverse groups such as Black communities, individuals affected by chronic diseases, and those navigating mental health challenges.
