Maryland Leaders Gain Conflict Resolution Skills at Law School Training

The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law’s Center for Dispute Resolution, in partnership with the Maryland Judiciary, hosted a two-day intensive training for the 2025 Public Policy Conflict Resolution Fellows. Esteemed participants — including Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman — enhanced their negotiation, mediation, and consensus-building skills through expert-led simulations, with the goal of fostering a culture of constructive conflict resolution across the state.
