Artistry Beyond Degrees: Celebrating UMB’s Creative Talents

UMB fosters a vibrant arts culture through its Council for the Arts & Culture, established in 2015 to celebrate creative talents and highlight the connection between arts and sciences. Initiatives include the annual 1807 art and literary journal, public art installations such as the "Stochastic Interactions” sculpture, and exhibitions in on-campus galleries such as the Frieda O. Weise Gallery. UMB also engages the community with events such as “UMB’s Got Talent,” theater partnerships, and makerspace classes at the Community Engagement Center.
