- Respond to media inquiries with accuracy, professionalism, and timely assistance.
- Train UMB experts to communicate effectively with reporters and the public.

- Host and produce in-person, hybrid, and virtual events for campus partners.
- Support client-produced live events with logistics and communications expertise.
- Coordinate with media to ensure smooth coverage and visibility when appropriate.
We support UMB’s safety and emergency-response efforts through timely messaging and coordination.
- Assist Police and Public Safety and the Office of Emergency Management as secondary emergency messaging staff.
- Provide public relations guidance to ensure accurate, clear communication during incidents.
- Support emergency medical technicians with messaging needs during urgent situations.
