The Interprofessional Program for Academic and Community Engagement (IPACE) is proud to announce the fourth annual upcoming 2026 IPACE Symposium, a signature event celebrating the University’s deep commitment to community partnerships, engaged scholarship, and furthering the conversations rooted in community engagement. The symposium will feature interactive presentations from campus and community collaborators and opportunities to explore new models of interprofessional engagement.

This year’s symposium arrives at a particularly meaningful moment for UMB. The University has recently earned the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification, a prestigious national designation recognizing institutions that demonstrate excellence in collaboration, reciprocity, and long‑term impact with the communities they serve.
