Ordering Food

You will need to fill out an online request form to receive food from the Employee Pantry. The food storage space is not open to the public.

You will log in using your UMID and password.

There is a setup in the Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HSHSL), and the HSHSL Information Desk staff will be available to assist.

The staff portal at the circulation desk in the Thurgood Marshall Law Library is available to assist. 

There are limits to how much you can order on the food request form. There is a limit of one item for most food items, but some canned goods have a limit of two items, and some snacks have a limit of three or four items. These limits are displayed in the food request form.

Yes, there are some restricted items. The Employee Pantry is hosted on the UMB Student Pantry’s ordering platform. Many of the hygiene items are restricted to students only because of the source of funding used to purchase those items. If restricted student items are requested by employees, they will not be added to your request. 

You can submit an order once a week.

No. You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been put in the locker.

You will receive an email from EmployeePantry@umaryland.edu  or “Luxer One” <support@luxerone.com› when your order is ready for pickup.

The Employee Pantry lockers are located on the third floor of the SMC Campus Center, 621 W. Lombard St., Baltimore, MD 21201.

Each order is made with brown paper bags without handles, but you can bring your own bag to hold those.

If your order has many items (usually 10 or more items) or several heavy items (i.e., more than four cans, rice, grits, syrup, grape or strawberry jelly, elbow noodles), please anticipate having two bags for your order.

There is a 48-hour window for you to pick up your order from the locker.
