The UMB AI Ideation Steering Committee at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) plays a central role in shaping the university’s approach to artificial intelligence. The AI Steering Committee is chaired by Dr. Roger Ward, UMB’s Provost and Executive Vice President. It is composed of a diverse group of stakeholders from across the university and serves as the strategic body guiding UMB’s engagement with AI.
