  1. Provide resources for faculty, staff and students to gain digital literacy with emerging technologies for teaching, research, and service delivery, including awareness of data security, privacy, and responsible data stewardship.
  2. Expand use of UMB’s technology infrastructure, including secure research environments, streamlined technology transfer pathways, and responsive support systems to catalyze innovation and support faculty, staff, and students.
  3. Advance ethical and responsible use of emerging technologies, including generative and agentic AI, to improve organizational efficiencies and generate novel approaches in teaching, research, community and clinical practice, and operations.
