PALLA spearheads Maryland's statewide initiative to elevate PA education, scholarship, and leadership development. As part of this mission, our Leader-in-Residence Program offers a structured 10-month fellowship designed to prepare practicing PA clinicians for faculty and leadership roles in academic settings. The participant will gain experience in educational theory, curriculum design, assessment strategies, and peer mentorship—all tailored to meet the evolving demands of PA higher education.

How the Program Works and What It Offers

The fellow will engage in a blended calendar of in-person and virtual learning, delving into adult learning theories, backward design, assessment methods, and interprofessional teaching strategies. They receive access to PALLA's extensive online resource hub and benefit from mentorship by PALLA's executive and academic.
