School of Law

Ranked in the top tier of American law schools, with two of its specialty programs among the top five nationally, the School of Law has come a long way from its roots in 1824, when a young maverick named David Hoffman developed a course of study to replace the then-standard apprenticeship.  The School's mission remains fundamentally unchanged:  To educate the next generation of leaders in pursuit of a more just society.
