National Institutes of Health Awards

In FY 2011 the National Institutes of Health awarded $197.7 million to the University of Maryland. The School of Medicine ranked 13th compared to other public schools of medicine. The School of Dentistry ranked 3rd compared to other public schools of dentistry. The School of Nursing ranked 12th compared to other public schools of nursing. The School of Pharmacy ranked 25th compared to other public schools of pharmacy. In addition, the University of Maryland received $76.5 million in grants through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for fiscal years 2009 and 2010.
