Neijma Celestine-Donnor, JD, MSW, is the associate dean for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Celestine-Donnor, who is a clinical assistant professor and director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, began her role at the School of Social Work in August 2020. In this role, Celestine-Donner leads the school’s diversity and anti-oppression efforts and helps guide the achievement of a new standard for inclusive excellence. As a member of the dean’s leadership team, she has a strategic position responsible for promoting and enabling an inclusive environment for faculty, students, and staff while championing organizational change. She previously worked for the University of Maryland, College Park, where she served as a director in the Division of Diversity and Inclusion. She holds a Master of Social Work and a JD.
