Dawn Rhodes, MBA, is chief business and finance officer and senior vice president at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB).
Rhodes has more than 30 years of experience in finance and operations, 23 of them in higher education. As of Aug. 1, 2016, Rhodes was named chief business and finance officer and vice president of administration and finance at UMB. In this role, she oversees UMB's $1.1 billion budget as well as capital planning, facilities and operations, and business affairs. She also serves as a key liaison to the local community on neighborhood development projects.
Rhodes has been a member of NACUBO’s Board of Directors since 2010. Recently, she served as chair of the ad hoc committee for the Next Generation Business Officers and she mentors future business leaders.
