The Common Calendar is a Universitywide events calendar shared by all school and administrative offices. Each school also has its own Internal Calendar. When you add events to your Internal Calendar they populate on your school or departmental calendar only.

Internal events are only open to a specific group of people at UMB. For example:

• Nursing students
• Social work students and faculty
• Law school students, faculty, and staff

Events for groups that are not Universitywide should appear on your internal calendar.

Your internal calendar is a subsection of the Common Calendar. Events added to your Internal Calendar's Events folder will publish to your Internal Calendar instead of the Common Calendar.

Your internal calendar has its own URL. For example, the School of Nursing's internal calendar can be viewed at calendar.umaryland.edu/son.
