Title: American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists Student Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (Hospital Pharmacists)Description: American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists Student Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP-SSHP) is the student chapter of the national professional organization of 30,000 members that represents pharmacists who practice in settings such as hospitals, health maintenance organizations, long-term care facilities, home care and other components of health care systems. ASHP, which has a long history of medication-error prevention efforts, believes that the mission of pharmacists is to help people make the best use of their medications. ASHP performs outreach to the community through health fairs like Community Fest and volunteering at the Hope Lodge.
