Community Programs in the School of Social Work

Title: Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Leadership Development Program
Description: A collaborative program between six Masters-level students who are awarded an MCH Leadership Scholarship and Doctoral-level students who are awarded an MCH Pre-doctoral Fellowship, the program aims to train the next generation of leaders in the MCH field. The selected trainees organize an interdisciplinary minimester course and community service project, complete a mock RFA, present a professional presentation, develop a maternal and child health leadership portfolio, and apply for the Presidential Management Fellows Program or an approved equivalent program.
