Baltimore Region Community Programs
Title: Students Promoting Awareness (Drug Abuse Awareness)Description: Students Promoting Awareness (SPA) is a student organization the seeks to educate elementary, middle and high school in the Baltimore/Washington metro area about drug abuse and the associated complications. Through their Student Committee on Drug Abuse Education (SCODAE) program, SPA reaches out to the community to provide substance abuse education from a pharmacistýs perspective. SPA also hosts Chalk the Smokeout and Rock the Smokeout, in order to educate and raise funds for smoking cessation.
