UMB Will Double BioPark Size With New Building at 4 MLK Blvd.

Our 10-story, 300,000-square-foot Gateway building, soon going up at the corner of W. Baltimore Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, will nearly double the multi-tenant space offered in our BioPark, already Baltimore's biggest biotech cluster. Housing R&D labs and offices, the Gateway will be the largest commercial building with an MLK address.

The 14-acre BioPark is where UMB commercializes faculty inventions and supports startups and early-stage companies throughout the city and state. To sustain growth in Baltimore's thriving entrepreneurial community, about one-third of the building's tenant space will be dedicated to small technology companies.
