School of Pharmacy Faculty Appointed to Statewide Advisory Councils

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore has appointed three faculty members from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy to serve on statewide advisory councils. Leah Sera, PharmD, MA, BCPS, associate professor in the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (P-SHOR) and co-director of the Graduate Studies in Medical Cannabis program, will serve on the Cannabis Public Health Advisory Council. Chad Johnson, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and co-director of the Graduate Studies in Medical Cannabis program, will serve on the Advisory Board on Medical and Adult-Use Cannabis. Zafar Zafari, PhD, MSc, assistant professor, P-SHOR, will serve on the Maryland Aviation Commission. Congratulations to these leaders!
