Fatima Goss Graves, JD, president and CEO of the National Women’s Law Center, discussed holding on to hope during a time of assaults on equity and justice during her keynote speech at UMB's Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Black History Month Celebration on Feb. 6. Goss Graves shared lessons from MLK that resonate today. The event also celebrated the University’s Diversity Recognition Award winners.
