UMB Parking and Transportation Services allows for one refund within a 12-month period.
- Receipts older than 30 days will not be honored.
- Pay-daily parkers are not eligible for refunds.
- To request refunds, you must have the original receipt from the garage attendant or verified form of payment.
- Submit your parking refund request with receipt here.
- Parking operations will review requests and respond accordingly. Refunds are not guaranteed.
- Refunds are processed and may take up to 15 days pending review.
- An active monthly/biweekly permit parker (daily permits excluded) may request a validation (during business hours) for exit that day in instances of:
- Pulled a ticket and has an access card and permit
- Proceed to the Parking Cashier's Office (Monday - Friday) located on the SMC Campus Center, lower level with the white ticket received upon entry.
- Email parkingoperations@umaryland.edu and provide name, ticket number and permit number in correspondence
- Forgot access card and permit

- Pulled a ticket and has an access card and permit
Please note that refunds are disbursed through the Central Payroll Bureau within the biweekly payroll distribution process and are subject to a tax deduction.
