Duo Mobile App Updated Needed by 03/11/2026

All UMB Duo Mobile users are encouraged to review and/or update their Duo Mobile apps to ensure devices are running on supported versions by February 2, 2026, to avoid login failures. Users must be operating on the 4.85 version or newer.  Learn more or verify your version on the Duo Updates page. 

Duo is the University of Maryland's solution for multi-factor authentication.

    • New User Enrollment – DUO Universal Prompt
      Introducing Duo's refreshed authentication experience, the Universal Prompt. When you log into an
      application protected with Duo after their initial account setup, they will be able to register your phone
      for Duo and install the Duo Mobile Application on your smartphone or tablet
    • Existing User - DUO Universal Prompt
      When logging in to an application with the Universal Prompt, you can add an additional device or
      manage existing devices by clicking the Other options link on the authentication page
