COVID-19 Update - 1/11/2021

To ensure your safety and protection, the lactation rooms are currently operating under limited usage and are available for those cleared to return to campus. The following location has opened for your lactation needs: SMC Campus Center/Wellness Hub.

Please register for a location before use. Good hygiene practices and cleaning up your station after each use is required for infection control. Daily cleaning will be provided by EVS Custodial Services.

To ensure your safety and protection, the lactation rooms are currently operating under limited usage. The following locations are open for your lactation needs: School of Dentistry, Health Sciences Facility III, and Saratoga. Please register for a location before use.

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) supports an individual’s choice to chestfeed/breastfeed their baby while pursuing their graduate or professional degree. There are currently on the UMB campus. Visit umaryland.edu/maps for location details of each Lactation Center. Any chestfeeding individual who is a UMB affiliate (faculty, staff, student, or their milkfeeding spouse/domestic partner) can use this service.

24-HOUR WARM LINE

The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) offers a Warm Line 24 hours a day, seven days a week for any and all chestfeeding/breastfeeding questions. The Warm Line is available at 410-328-3512.
