Join us each month from 11:30 - 1:30 p.m. for a drop-in kindness event. Designed to create a culture of compassion, devoting time to support others in the UMB and surrounding Baltimore communities provides overall satisfaction in life, lasting wellbeing, and enriches our social interactions at UMB. No skills or experience necessary.
Why participate in Kindness Initiative?
Serving together as a diverse group of students with various religious and non-religious identities creates the space to learn from one another. We will be providing specific volunteer opportunities for you throughout the year at locations on and off campus. During the events, you will have the opportunity to reflect on what personal values inspired you to serve as well as learn about the role of spiritual wellness in community service and acts of kindness. The Kindness Initiative is a citywide partnership project between UMB and JHeritage.
