American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED for the Lay Responder

The Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age. The training is hands-on and requires active participation. It also teaches the skills and knowledge needed to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). No prerequisites necessary. Participants will receive a two-year certification card upon successful completion of course. The cost of the course is $70.

American Red Cross Standard First Aid

The purpose of this course is to help participants identify and eliminate potentially hazardous conditions in their environment, recognize emergencies, and make appropriate decisions for first aid care. It teaches skills that participants need to know to provide immediate care of a suddenly ill or injured person until more advanced medical care arrives. No prerequisites necessary. Participants will receive a two-year certification card upon successful completion of course. The cost of the course is $70.

American Red Cross Blended Learning Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid

The blended learning course combines online coursework with in-person skills practice. The online content is completed by the participant before the in-person skills practice. The course date represents the date of the skills practice, and online coursework needs to be completed before the in-person skills practice. Access to the online content will be delivered in an email after registering for the course.

Safety Education Class Registration Policy

  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Registration for the class is complete once payment is received on  URecFit Live.
  • URecFit reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be contacted with options to reschedule or be fully refunded.
  • Arrive on time. Late arrivals won’t be admitted to the class and will be considered not in attendance. 
  • For multiple-day classes, participants will need to attend all sessions to receive certification.
  • Students will be required to actively participate. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that will allow for kneeling and lying on the floor, as required by the training.

Refunds and Transfers

  • Refunds: To receive a full refund for the URecFit Safety Education Class registration, the request must be made seven days before the day of the class.  Refund requests made within seven days of the class will not be refunded. There will be no refunds issued for failure to attend the class. 
  • Transfers: Registrations can be transferred, once, to another available class seven days before the start of the course. No transfers or refunds will be granted within seven days of the class.
