To Pay Online 

 

Please login to your SURFS account, select Student, then click on the TouchNet® link. Online payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and personal checking account.  A non-refundable convenience fee of 2.85% (minimum $3.00) will be charged to each credit card transaction.  No additional fee is associated with checking account transactions.

 

To Pay by Mail 

Please mail your payment via check or money order to the following address.  Please include your Student ID number (beginning with “@00”) on the check memo line.

To Pay in Person 

You may pay in person at the Cashier’s Office, located in the Health Sciences/Human Services Library (601 W. Lombard Street), Suite 206.  The Cashier’s Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.  Cash, check, and debit card payments are welcome at the Cashier’s Office.  Credit card payments may be made online only through TouchNet® Bill+Payment.

International Payments

UMB Installment Plan 

UMB has partnered with DocuSign to make electronic installment plans for students.

A student seeking to pay in installments should email Student Financial Services at studentaccounthelp@umaryland.edu to initiate and execute the agreement before the original due date of the bill.

The terms of the Installment Plan are as follows:

  1. An administrative fee of $10 per semester is added to the outstanding balance.
  2. One-third (1/3) of the charges plus the $10 administration fee are due on the original due date.
  3. One-third (1/3) of the charges is due 30 days after the original due date.
  4. One-third (1/3) of the charges is due 60 days after the original due date.
  5. If an installment is received 15 days after the due date, it is considered late and subject to a late fee of $200 or 5% of the total account balance due, whichever is less.
