CER-PCOR Continuing Education Programs
The University of Maryland, Baltimore has a national reputation as a leader in CER/PCOR and interdisciplinary collaborations. Nationally recognized faculty experts are equipped to respond to the short supply of specialized skills researchers must possess to conduct, translate, disseminate, and/or evaluate patient-centered outcomes research.
The PROEM Continuing Education program aims to provide the advanced training researchers need in study design and statistical analyses related to CER and to train decision-makers to interpret CER and appropriately implement findings. Various in-person and online continuing education opportunities are available for researchers, clinicians, health care professionals, and students
CER-PCOR Summer Institute
The CER-PCOR Summer Institute is a five-day training program designed to provide researchers, clinicians, and health care professionals with the fundamentals of CER-PCOR. Each day of the institute will focus on different topic and include engaging and informative sessions led by the national experts in CER-PCOR. Topics include:
- Fundamentals of CER-PCOR
- Patient and stakeholder engagement
- CER-PCOR Research Methods
- Health outcome measurement
- Translation, dissemination, and implementation

Continuing Education Courses
Continuing education programs on CER/PCOR are available for independent study online through the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Center for Innovative Pharmacy Solutions. You do not need to be a pharmacist to receive CE credit for these courses.
