Permit Holders

In August 2023, all part-time faculty with a part-time faculty permit will need to re-register. More information is forthcoming.


For a part-time parking permit, faculty must work three days or fewer in a week. Based on approval from your department, the cashier’s office issues part-time faculty permits every semester. Applications are now online, and you will need your One Card to pick up your permit.Once your application is received, an email link for an appointment will be sent to the email address on the application.

Your permit must be hung from the rearview mirror while your vehicle is parked. Parkers may relocate their vehicle after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends using your UMB One Card; however, you must remove your car by 2:55 a.m. the following day or you will be considered a visitor and charged the visitor rate. No refunds will be given.

The part-time faculty rate is $9 per day.

Part-Time Faculty With Vouchers Provided By Department

If you have been provided vouchers by your department:

1. Contact your parking liaison directly about how to proceed when your voucher supply is exhausted.

Payment Process

All part-time faculty members have one of two options:

  1. Link your personal credit card or debit card to your UMB One Card. This will allow you to enter and exit garages by swiping your UMB One Card.
  2. Continue to pay at a pay-on-foot machine or at a cashier’s booth using your credit card or debit card.

Starting November 1st, American Express will no longer be accepted. To change your credit card or debit card on file, please use the link below to make an appointment.

For a part-time faculty, complete the attached application.

  • Once the application is received, an appointment link will be sent to the email address provided on the form.
