International Student Peer Mentorship Program
The International Student Peer Mentorship Program seeks to promote relationships between new international and currently enrolled UMB students for the purpose of promoting diversity, equity and inclusion on campus.
The International Student Peer Mentorship Program is intended to help new incoming international students adjust to the cultural, academic, and social environment at UMB with the help of currently enrolled students. Mentors and mentees are encouraged to proactively maintain regular contact, and supported by the Office of International Services (OIS) with trainings and events throughout the Fall semester.
The program offers support for new incoming international students (mentees) through efforts to identify and train mentors, schedule social activities and receive feedback from mentors and mentees to improve the program.
