  • Building a PAL in West Baltimore

    The UMB Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL) provides an opportunity for elementary and middle school students to improve their self-esteem, academic performance, and social skills, while building a foundation of trust with local police officers.

The Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL) program at the UMB Community Engagement Center (CEC) is a national after-school program that was launched in February 2018 and is one of only two programs in the nation offered at a university.
