Virginia Rowthorn, JD, LLM

Virginia Rowthorn, JD, LLM, is executive director of the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s (UMB) Center for Global Education Initiatives (CGEI), senior lecturer at UMB’s Graduate School, and an adjunct professor in the Law and Health Care Program at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

In her role as CGEI executive director, she manages the interprofessional activities of the Universitywide center that focuses on community-engaged research and service projects in international and U.S. settings. In her role as senior lecturer at the Graduate School, she is the program director of the Costa Rica Global Health Innovation program.
