Addressing Legal and Regulatory Barriers to Increase Access to Healthcare Through International Telemedicine

Join us for an international telehealth roundtable discussion with legal, regulatory, and clinical experts on the latest trends and innovation in international telehealth. The virtual two-day event will take place Thursday-Friday, April 7-8 from 9 a.m.-noon ET.

The event will follow a roundtable format, focusing on the following topics, among others:

1. Opportunities and challenges improving access to care through telemedicine

2. Comparative telehealth models from around the world

3. Issues facing U.S. providers serving international patients

4. Innovative ideas in telehealth

We will also have a special session on The Telehealth4Ukraine Initiative with special guest speakers from the Center for Telehealth and e-Health Law: Executive Director Christa Natoli and Ben Steinhafel, Director of Policy and External Affairs.

Panels will be led by invited discussion leaders who are subject matter experts in international telehealth law and practice, and other invited guests will have the opportunity for informal dialogue on pressing issues limiting or improving access to health care services through cross-border telehealth services. Our hope is that the roundtable will foster insightful conversation, sharing of best practices, and the strengthening of professional relationships.

Discussion leaders include leaders in international telehealth policy, clinicians practicing telehealth across borders, and leading legal practitioners and scholars in the area of global telemedicine. Please see the agenda for the full list of distinguished panelists.
