Yolanda Ogbolu PortraitYolanda Ogbolu, PhD, CRNP, FNAP, FAAN, is an assistant professor, neonatal nurse practitioner, and director of the Office of Global Health at the University of Maryland School of Nursing.

Her international research and programmatic activities focus on using dissemination and implementation science methodologies to improve newborn survival, the prevention of maternal-to-child transmission of HIV, nurse capacity, and maternal and child outcomes through health care system strengthening research. Bidirectional learning across contexts is highly valued, as evident in her global health research translation from low-resource settings to local communities in Maryland. Ogbolu is a fellow of the National Academies of Practice and the American Academy of Nursing.
