Fellowship and Training Grants
The University of Maryland School of Medicine has training grants for both clinical fellowships and pre and postdoctoral research academic opportunities in the Department of Medicine and Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine as well as in the Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System.
The aging of the population highlights the need for research on diseases and disabilities that affect older persons. The objective of our Epidemiology of Aging Training Program is to train pre and postdoctoral fellows to conduct independent and original research in the epidemiology of aging, with an emphasis on the prevention of late life disability and functional decline.
