Hershaw Davis Jr., MSN, RN, is an entry to practice clinical faculty member in the Department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health at the University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON). Previously, he was an adjunct clinical instructor at UMSON.

He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland,  Baltimore. After matriculation, he completed the Johns Hopkins Hospital Nurse Residency in the Adult Emergency Department. He has clinical experience in the areas of emergency, trauma, psychiatry, and care coordination. He has an interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion and serves as a member of the Diversity Advisory Council. He currently serves on the Emergency Nurses Association Inaugural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association Council for Mental Health Advocacy Steering Committee Meeting.
