Contract Considerations During COVID-19

As UMB gradually returns to campus in the coming months, staff members who are responsible for securing contracts for event services or the use of venues (e.g., Hippodrome, Royal Farms Arena for commencement) need to consider including clauses that protect UMB in case events need to be canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. UMB Recovery Framework

Updated March 31, 2021

Since May 2020, UMB has followed its Recovery Framework, which has guided University continuity and restoration of education, research, and administrative functions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Recovery Framework identified June 2021 to May 2022 as the “long-term planning period.” Read more.
