How do I change my personal email address for SAFE on Campus?

Adding a personal email address to SAFE on Campus only provides notifications of your responses.

SAFE will not send the daily reminder to complete the form to your personal email address; the system can only use your official UMB email to send daily reminders. The system will not allow you to remove your UMB email.

(However, you can create a rule in Outlook to forward emails from safe-no-reply@umaryland.edu to a personal email address.)

Follow these instructions to add a personal email address to SAFE:

Scroll to the question that permits you to request a change in your monitoring.

Choose “Yes."

This will open another question asking about the kind of change you need. Select one or more by checking the boxes.

 

When you select “Change Contact Information,” you will be given the chance to add a personal email address.

In this case, the email responses will be sent to both your UMB and your personal email address.

If you are on a pause and need to update your e-mail or other contact information please complete the Episodic Self Monitoring Symptom Report, select yes to question 15 and in the text box provide the correct information.
