As part of the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s (UMB) mission, UMB provides clinical services and performs medical research in multiple buildings on campus. In clinical areas, including patient waiting areas, face coverings are required regardless of vaccination status and changes to the UMB Policy Requiring the Use of Face Coverings. The amended Governor’s face coverings order still requires that masks be worn when “obtaining healthcare services, including without limitation, in offices of physicians and dentists, hospitals, pharmacies, and laboratories.”
