Funding identified for Counseling Center and Campus Life Services renovation project.
Site visit to Towson University’s Student Counseling Center for research and design ideas.
Design and stakeholder town hall meetings. Campus Life Services leadership met with more than 15 faculty, staff, and student groups to discuss the future needs of the Counseling Center and Campus Life Services departments.
Event Services Department relocated permanently to the lower level of the Campus Center, Room 001.
Campus Life Business Services relocated permanently to the lower level of the Campus Center, Room 003.
Educational Support and Disability Services Department moved temporarily (until construction is completed) to Health Sciences Library, Room 201F.
Student Development and Leadership Department moved temporarily (until construction is completed) to Room 506. You can access this office through the fourth floor.
Interprofessional Student Learning and Service Initiatives (ISLSI) moved temporarily (until construction is completed) to Room 223.
Baltimore City Department of Public Works approved the renovation project.
Preparation for demolition to begin in Suite 302 and Room 311.
Sub-contractors walked through space on July 10, 2019. Demolition started July 18, 2019.
The new walls are getting framed with metal studs. All new electrical and HVAC is getting run to the new spaces. New plumbing lines for the kitchenette installed.
